Homeward Bound - June 15, 2016

The day arrived that all missionaries face with many different emotions after serving for two years-- the missionary heads for home!

Elder Copeland is taken to the airport in Managua by 

 President Bryan Russell and his wife.

Elder Copeland's Bishop received this letter from President Russell telling him of Elder Copeland's great service and their appreciation for his hard work.

Now, onto a new life ahead for Elder Copeland.

Saying Good-bye to the Wonderful People of Manauga - June 2016

During the two years Elder Copeland served in Nicaragua, he made many memories as well as many friends.  Before he left, he snapped a few pictures of some of these wonderful people, as well as memories, that he had in his last area.

 

Ninety-ninth Week - June 13, 2016

Family,

This week I had my last ever baptism, bittersweet moment.  

We also had a Multi-zone Conference.  Today I had my last interview with President Russell.

"Aunque tengo muchas cosas que escribiros, no he querido comunicarlas por medio de papel y tinta, pues espero ir a vosotros y hablar cara a cara, para que nuestro gozo sea completo"

"Porque yo ya estoy a punto de ser ofrecido como sacrificio, y el tiempo de mi partida está cercano. He peleado la buena batalla, he acabado la carrera, he guardado la fe."
