Trabajo Como Caballo, Pero No Soy Caballo. (I work like a
horse, but I am not a horse)
Well, there goes
another week... Wow, they are just going quicker and quicker. We are almost
down to single digit weeks, can't believe it.
This week was pretty good, finally
found a couple people to teach. You'd think that its a little easy to find
people to teach here, hahaha. We'll you are all bien equivocado. Honestly, we work
like caballos. This week we got a new companion, Elder Presinal from La Republica
Dominicana. He's 24 and has 8 months in the mission, cool dude.
This past week we
spent the majority of the week just looking for new people. On Friday, we were
contacting and we came across a super nice Nica house, with a car! So I decided
to contact it. The lady let us in. She has two kids. Her name is Yanin. Long
story short, she goes to the Catholic church because if not, her mom will get mad
at her. So on Sunday at 9 am, she went to the Catholic Misa with her mom, then at
10 came to our church (by herself! That doesn't happen in this country!) She
loved church, but didn't like Relief Society. Come on, old ladies! Step up your
game!!! Hah!
Saturday, we had a baptism, Danny (23). He is super awesome. He kinda
reminds me of Frederick (my convert from Granada). Well, all is well, time is
ticking. This morning, I finished 1 Nephi. Gotta finish before I leave!!
"Believe in
order to understand rather than understand in order to believe."
Sorry that my e-mails aren't that great anymore.
Love you all,
Elder Copeland
